What is the Farabi Exchange Program?

The Student and Faculty Member Exchange Program between Higher Education Institutions, which is briefly called "Farabi Exchange Program", is an exchange program for students and faculty members between higher education institutions that provide education at the associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level within universities and institutes of high technology.

The Farabi Exchange Program aims for students or faculty members to continue their education and training activities in a higher education institution outside their home institution for one or two semesters.

Students participating in the Farabi Exchange Program receive scholarships and faculty members receive additional course payments.

The principles regarding the implementation of the Farabi Exchange Program are detailed in the "Regulations and Principles and Procedures" established by the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education.

Who can participate in the Farabi Exchange Program?

Within the scope of the Farabi Exchange Program, associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students enrolled in higher education institutions where formal education is provided can participate in student exchange. Students studying in the preparatory and first year of associate and undergraduate programs cannot benefit from the Farabi Exchange Program. Master's and doctoral students cannot benefit from this program for their preparatory and scientific preparation periods and the first semester they start their main education.
